Despite the fact that a money grabbing Hollywood movie is being released to theaters today, Power Rangers is, in my opinion, a vastly underrated franchise.

Its original roots started all the way back in 1975 as Super Sentai in Japan, before exploding in America in 1993 with Jason Lee Scott, Zack Taylor, Trini Kwan, Billy Cranston, Tommy Oliver and Kimberly Hart kicking ass as the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It was a cultural phenomenon that spawned two feature films and still continues through new iterations to this day 24 seasons later! The only other show that had a run like that is Doctor Who.

Though, Amy Jo Johnson will forever be cemented in our hearts as the preeminent Pink Ranger, Pattycake gives the pink suit a worthy successor in her newest cosplay video.
